i came across this comic. not entirely sure where from - but definitely not mine and i just had to share it with all of you.
designers (or diva's to you..) are a very peculiar type of person. although we all live and breathe design and it seems that we sprout creativity like your local ON DEMAND channels on television... that's not always the case.
so for all you designers out there.. and for everyone else's amusement... see a designer secret..below.. i know i am guilty of this... actually - v.v. guilty.

I too have days like that, and on many of those occasions I will do ANYTHING to avoid the monolithic job at hand. However, I have learned that the way to deal with such a HUGE wall of a job is one brick at a time.
Start with a piece of paper and write at the top what you have to do (the BIG picture). Underneath that, list small steps you can take to get you there - phone calls you can make, people you can get to help you, research you need to do, materials you need to gather together, etc.
